SmartWater
SmartWater is a generic property marker which can be used to mark anything from a wedding ring to a bicycle to a JCB…The trace can easily be detected using ultra-violet light and as the chemical is unique ownership is easily and quickly traced by the police. In many cases the ability to link stolen property to criminals to actual crimes is the intelligence the police need to make a successful prosecution. And criminals know that if they are caught with evidence of having handled objects coded with SmartWater or having been sprayed with SmartWater they will face prosecution and conviction. Warning signage and labels are included with each system to deter would-be criminals.
There will be a demonstration and refreshments at the meeting.
