3, 2, 1 Countdown by Million Makers To F1 British Grand Prix To Raise Money For Princes Trust

British Grand Prix on race day last yearA group of staff at Silverstone are participating in the Prince's Trust Corporate Challenge called Million Makers. Million Makers is a national competition challenging teams of employees to raise as much money as possible.

The money raised from this competition helps the Prince’s Trust to make a real difference to the lives of disadvantaged young people across Northamptonshire and UK. To learn more about the Prince’s Trust please visit: www.princes-trust.org.uk/

We will be staging three events in the three weeks that lead up to the 2012 FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX to support this great cause. We have named the series events simply ‘3, 2, 1’, a countdown to one of the biggest sporting events of the year.

Those three events are as follows:

1. Online Auction – We have some truly money can’t buy experiences and items, all themed around the 2012 FORMULA 1 SANTANDER BRITISH GRAND PRIX! Place your bid to be in with a chance of a once in a lifetime opportunity. The Auction will begin on 18 June and end on the 25 June. 2. Fun Run – Walk, run, cycle, skate or scoot around the Grand Prix track. This will be fun for the whole family with entertainment and food stalls to refuel after
3. ‘Senna’ Screening – On Thursday 05 July, before the Formula One cars take to the track, we will relive the life of the great Ayrton Senna. You won’t get another opportunity to watch this BAFTA award winning film in a more relevant place, in front of the Silverstone Wing on the Grand Prix track
