Brackley in Bloom 2012
Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Mike Barlow and the six high commended entrants in our 2012 Blooming Brackley Competition.
Brackley Mayor, Cllr Chris Cartmell, together with the Deputy Mayor, Cllr Peter Rawlinson, recently spent an enjoyable few days visiting the gardens of local residents who’d entered our Blooming Brackley competition.
There were flower-beds, raised beds, themed gardens, vegetable plots, hanging baskets and more, all carefully tended and beautifully set out.
Considering the early summer hosepipe ban, which was followed by days of constant rain and lack of sunshine, they were both delighted to see so many amazing gardens.
Selecting a winner wasn’t easy and after much deliberation we’re pleased to announce the overall Winner is Mr & Mrs Mike Barlow who received their winner’s certificate and gardening vouchers from the Mayor at the Council Meeting on Monday 6 August.
