Gathering for Friends and new Friends

As planned, we are having an inaugural gathering and meeting at the church, to get together and have some ideas about how the Friends would like to operate in the years to come. Do come and have the chance to enjoy being at the church and to look around.
We hope you will have a cup of coffee and a chat about the future. We would like those, who are already Friends or anybody who would like to join, to come along. If people have their own ideas about the Friends or future activities, their suggestions are very welcome.
- The Friends of St Mary, Easton Neston is a new organisation.
- Currently The Friends is administered by the Parochial Church Council [PCC] of St Mary, Easton Neston. An annual newsletter keeps members in touch with developments at the church.
- Following the launch of the Friends, the Friends themselves will determine the nature of the activities they will carry out, as agreed by the PCC.
- Ultimately it is hoped The Friends will be an independent body with charitable status.
- The Friends raise money by a small annual Subscription [currently £5 for an individual, or £9 for a family membership] and possibly by other means, in due course. Funds belonging to the Friends will be used at the Friends’ discretion, solely to run the Friends organisation and support the fabric of the church.
