Woodford Fete, 5th July 2008
Stalls, competitions and prize draws, refreshments, all on the Village Green for all the family!
It was a bit on the windy side, so it needed all hands on deck to set up! And a bit of extra tape to hold things down, too! Luckily, the weather stayed good, as was the turn out!
The "Crazy Hat" competition was well contested!
And the "Pirate Treasure Trail", on the About My Area NN14 stand, created lots of attention. The fantastic prizes drew lots entries and all the squares were sold, meaning that the target of £100 towards the church funds was reached.
Many thanks to all the local businesses that contributed prizes and, of course, to all that took part!
