Delapre Abbey Family Show promises fun for all in August 30th & 31st
Enjoy all the fun of a traditional town show and benefit Cynthia Spencer Hospice as you do. Entry to the show is free for all, although there is a £2 charge for car parking.
Experience the wide and diverse range of horticultural exhibits on offer from and displays from the Northampton Allotment Network. Browse over 50 stalls and listen to live music ranging from Folk to the Northampton Male Voice Choir. Watch the Haraam Egyptian Dance Troupe and the Razzel Dazel Children's Dance Group. Introduce the family to children's pets and reptiles. Encourage your children to enter the ‘Garden in a Seed Tray' competition, and bring the dog in fancy dress for a chance of winning a prize in the Crazy Pooch Costume Competition - subject to a £2 entry fee.

‘The Friends of Delapre Abbey are working in partnership with the Northampton Allotment Network to reintroduce an event similar to the old town show in an historic setting with some of the most beautiful gardens and parkland in Northamptonshire .
‘The first Delapre Family Show has been two years in the making and has been designed by local people for local people to benefit those in our community with life limiting illness.
‘We hope the Delapre Family Show will become an annual event and that it will be loved by all those who remember the old town show and remembered as a grand day out by all. '
