MORRIS DANCING SPECTACULAR!
Every year, about this time, Rose and Castle Morris, based at Stoke Bruerne, hold a "weekend of dance".
Saturday 4th July | Northampton Market Square | 10am to 11am
They invite Morris sides from all over the country to showcase their type of dance, from North West Clog Morris and Cotswold Morris (sticks and hankies) to Border Morris (very noisy) and sword dancing. The sides may be all men, all women or mixed and the main event of the weekend is a bus tour, which naturally visits pubs! This year one of their tours will start in the Market Square - it's sure to be a colourful and life-affirming event!
