The Best Guide for the NN2 Area

We are a local family , who moved to Northampton - Abington some 5 years ago - we didn't at the time know anyone in Northampton and of course had to find local services and suppliers to meet the family needs - this proved be more difficult than you would imagine.  How did we find out about good services, suppliers and what was  happening in the very local area ? primarily through talking to people and word of mouth recomendations.

What we needed was a central place to find this information out - first and firmost , always the community information - where is the local scouts club, mother and toddler groups, church groups, ballet classes , french lessons - the list is endless, and the more obscure requirements - where can i go for a pottery class.   Secondly, where can i find a good reliable local plumber, electrician or any number of other services we all need - we found out through trial and error and talking to other families.

Northampton has such a lot going on and we believe we miss out on events and news as there is nothing local and regularly updated enough to meet our needs.   We genuinly want to give the communities of Northampton a voice to tell everyone whats going on locally and share our stories, concerns and support and now with Community Networking - your Right to Write this is possible -
