Anyone who purchases a copy of 'Navegator' on Saturday will receive a free admission programme (worth £7.00) for ‘Midsummer Music’, a wonderful event for all the family. This popular event will be having its tenth anniversary this year, with music appealing to all tastes. It starts with a rock concert at 7.30pm on Friday 22nd June; a wonderful variety of singers and instrumentalists will perform at eleven different locations from 7.30pm on Saturday 23rd June.
The magical, iconic cathedral in Palma provides the backdrop for much of the action in ‘Navegator’, Towcester resident Geoffrey Iley’s thriller. The reader is introduced to a colourful cast of larger-than-life characters around the world, but the main focus of this fast-paced story is the beautiful and historic island of Mallorca. The plot unfolds in a number of locations there including: a remote mountainside, a luxury hotel, a large country estate, the markets, the streets of the city of Palma and the University.
Remember, this special 'Meet the Author' event for ‘Navegator’ will be taking place in the main shopping complex at Milton Keynes at Waterstones, Midsummer Place, on Saturday 16th June from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm. So, for anyone who buys the book, it's from Midsummer Place to Midsummer Music - a happy coincidence!'
Geoffrey Iley will be answering questions as well as and signing copies of his book. He will also give details of the 'Win a Free Holiday in Mallorca' competition. There is also information at www.navegator.co.uk.
