October Farmers Market
The Farmers Market in Towcester will be on Friday 13th October 2017, at Richmond Road car park in Towcester, next to Dominos. The market runs from 9am to 1.30pm
This month sees the return of a couple of stall holders after a summer break, and also a new vendor too. With at least 12 stalls expected, there will be the usual farmers market offerings of meat, vegetables, eggs, artisan bread, and cheese, along with the addition variety of stalls selling crayfish fishcakes, cards and stationary, cupcakes, Indian spices, and cooked meals and other pastries.
This month we welcome a new stall holder, who will be providing Greek speciality foods, including olives, sweet baklava, plus some Turkish Delight. The market is always looking to offer something new and different to its customers, and this is a great example of the variety of produce that is available when there are new vendors wanting to attend.
The Towcester and District Lions Club, who run the market to raise money for local charities, continue with their aim to provide a the unique selection of products and produce that cannot be purchased in local shops, while supporting local businesses.
