Following a successful tour of the town in November, the Brackley Job Club will be going on the move again this week.
Since it started in 2010, the SNC Job Club has been held fortnightly in Brackley and Towcester and has brought nearly 400 people back into employment.
On Friday, 8 December 2017 the Job Club will move between five locations in Brackley.
Cllr Stephen Clarke, SNC’s portfolio holder for economic growth, regeneration and housing, said: “A good number of people attended Job Club on the move in November and we’ve had a number of enquiries about the service since then.
“If you’re new to the town and are looking for work, or if you live locally and you are looking to change your job, the Brackley Job Club will provide you with details of job vacancies from across the district.”
The SNC Job Club can help find training, apprenticeships, part-time or full-time work and provides expert advice throughout the job application process.
Those signed up to the SNC Job Club receive a list of current jobs in the district which is updated every week.
Anyone who cannot get to a weekly Job Club, or take advantage of Job Club on the move, can contact SNC’s employment support adviser to arrange a meeting that is convenient to them.
When the SNC Job Club goes on the move on Friday, 8 December 2017 it will stop at; Poppyfields Way between 10am and 10:50am, The Old Fire Station between 11am and 12:20pm, the Market Place between 12:30pm and 1:50pm, the big Tesco between 2pm and 3.15pm and Pavillons Way (near Springfield Way) between 3:30pm and 4:30pm.
When not on the move the SNC Job Club alternates weekly between Brackley Library and The Forum in Towcester.
