POTTERSPURY OPEN GARDENS 19 and 20 July
The third Potterspury Open Gardens event is scheduled for 19 and 20 July.
A record 21 gardens for you to see, including several new ones that were not part of either the 2006 or the 2007 show. The gardens will be open from 12 till 5 each day, and admission will be £4, with children entering free.
There are a number of new features this time. There will be a children’s quiz trail around the gardens, and in the village hall there are additional crafts attractions, including greetings cards, jewellery and wood-turned items. The village school children are exhibiting paintings and there will be a prize for the best in each year. Also we have a display of beautiful wildlife photography, and local artists will be selling their paintings.
Cold drinks, tea, coffee and delicious home-made cakes and cookies will be available in the village hall.
