Historic Churches Bike Ride - Team and Ground Crew

The Alderton Team, both riders and the team manning the church. This team raised over £100 and managed to visit seven churches picking up an addtional rider at Grafton Regis.
The Sponsored Bike Ride/Walk took place on Saturday 8th September 2007.
This annual event is an excellent way of raising funds for your own church as well as the Trust, as 50% of the money that you raise is returned to the church of your choice. The weather was not too warm thankfully that made both cycling and walking a bit easier than last year when it was very hot!
It was a great opportunity to visit and admire some of the wonderful Christian buildings in the County.
Most of the churches in the County were open from 10.00 - 18.00 with refreshments on offer to all.
