Jen Is Deanshanger's Dedicated PCSO

PCSO Jen Harrison, who works with the Towcester Rural Safer Community Team, has this month been working on the Deanshanger beat with some funding being provided by the local parish council.
She said: “My role is to work with the community and provide a visible presence in the village.
“I will be there to help tackle anti-social behaviour issues and those of nuisance vehicles and also to provide reassurance and support.
“I intend to look into the provision of activities for the younger people of the village and want to build up a strong association with both Kingsbrook Community College and Deanshanger Primary School.
“It is important that I work closely with the parish council and establish a high profile by being seen around the village.”
The Towcester Rural SCT is led by Sergeant Mark Holford and includes three police constables, five police community support officers and one special constable.
Any incidents or crimes in the village should initially be reported to Daventry police on 08453 700700 – thereafter, PCSO Harrison will be available to offer advice and support to the community.
