A second world war era Dakota flies over Litchborough today
The Editor of AboutMyArea/NN12 was taking a few snaps at Litchborough Cricket Club for the match reports and suddenly it was obvious a low flying aircraft was approaching, struggling with his monopod the Editor managed to get 10 or 12 snaps as the Dakota flew overhead.

Litchborough Cricket Club were playing Wicken at the Mells Close (Tank Park) cricket ground beautifully prepared in most attractive surroundings.
