Its Thursday, the first practice of the F1 British Grand Prix is only 18 hours away. Silverstone is ready, there is a quiet confidence and competence about the circuit.
The campsites are filling up, the marshalls are out and well briefed, the pit lane is taking shape, the McLaren village is beginning to dominate the skyline and the Gull Wing Mercedes Safety Car is droning around puttlng laps down.
This is the Grand Prix that had gone away, apparently 60 miles up the motorway, but that was not to be, SIlverstone is calm and ready and the Grand Prix is back.
The new pit and paddock steelwork is very impressive, 2011 promises to be spectacular but the 2010 Grand Prix has real support, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton's loyal supporters have their flags flying in the campsites already.
Red Bull on home turf are letting Mark Webber use a Vettel chasis - its virtually a home race for them, they are based in Milton Keynes. So to are Force India based over the road from the circuit with Mercedes GP just a few miles down the road in Brackley.
The weather is set - going to be warm and sunny. The South Northants skies will be busy with helicopters, but not as much as a few years, ago, the infrastructure is there now to support it, the police have learnt lessons as recently as the MotoGP a few weeks ago.
With Jenson Button the reigning World Champion and Lewis Hamlton the 2009 champion heading up the championship board - this is going to be a special weekend.
NIgel Mansell is going to be the driver's representative at the Steward's office, he won at Silverstone three times during his career, 87, 91 and 92 when he was also world champion.
The home of British Motor Racing is going to provide a fantastic spectacle.
