Silverstone Schools Get Healthy!
| Published: 22nd January 2008 09:02 |

Silverstone Junior and Infant Schools were delighted to be awarded the National Healthy School award in a recent presentation.
Carolyn Lovell (who has just retired as Deputy Head) worked with both schools over the past year to promote healthy eating, keeping fit and healthy and an integrated and structured approach to personal and social education.
This was externally validated with the presentation in December.
Head Teacher, Julie Letts, said “I am very proud of the pupils who have demonstrated their understanding of the practical benefits of a healthier lifestyle and have worked hard together to spread this message through the schools”.
