Dragon's Egg

Published: 24th January 2008 16:21

HOW TO GET YOUR HANDS ON A DRAGON'S EGG WITHOUT BECOMING LUNCH

It's the time of year when female dragons are making their nests and laying their eggs. But if you are unlucky enough to stumble upon a clutch then take our advice and run as far and as fast as you can.Mummy dragons are fiercely protective so not only could you could easily end up as a tasty snack, but stealing dragon eggs is illegal.
However, if the urge to own a beautiful and rare dragon's egg is just too much, then why not make your own, it's easy and a lot safer.
Take a look at single dad website www.dadcando.com. There you will find stunning dragon's eggs along with easy-to-follow, step-by-step illustrations on how to make them. It's so simple it really is child's play and the end result is incredibly life-like dragon's eggs. Making and painting the eggs takes about 45 minutes and even grown-ups can make them.
You'll also find simple instructions on how to create a display stand together with an ‘antique' mailing box which is ideal for holding your precious dragon egg collection.
You can create your own fantastic collection of individually decorated dragon's eggs, or give them to your friends and relatives. Or why not organise a Dragon Egg Hunt in your garden this Easter
www.dadcando.com was created by one time advertising industry creative director and single father of four Chris Barnardo, who just happens to be a descendent of Dr. Barnardo's family, founder of the original children's charity.
Everything on the site is free and is very high quality. Most of the projects are made from recycled household junk.
Chris is passionate that dads are heroes to their kids and wanted to create a site that celebrated fatherhood in a practical way, one that gives single dads easy ways to connect with their kids. He also wanted to create an environment where single dads would find positive support.
www.dadcando.com is the culmination of those two aims.
