Published: 9th April 2008 09:16

Major new changes are on the way when Civil Parking Enforcement (CPE) starts in Nottinghamshire on 12 May 2008and Nottinghamshire County Council takes over responsibility for on-street parking enforcement from the Police. This involves taking over functions formerly carried out by traffic wardens such as illegal parking on single and double yellow lines, and public car parks.
CPE will be operated by the Notts Parking Partnership, which includes the County Council and the seven Districts/Borough Councils in Nottinghamshire (excluding the City) and National Parking Services (NCP). Broxtowe Borough Council is urging motorists to ‘Park Smart' in the Borough to avoid parking problems.

M  Make Sure You Know the Parking Restriction
