New Mayor for Broxtowe Borough

Councillor Sue Wildey was installed as the 32nd Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe on Wednesday 14th May 2008 and has chosen to support When You Wish Upon a Star and DARE (UK) as her nominated charities during her year in office. Sue Wildey is the Independent Councillor for Nuthall East & Strelley and was a founder member and secretary of the Nuthall Residents Association in 2001. She was elected onto the Nuthall Parish Council in 2002 and went on to win a seat on Broxtowe Borough Council in 2003 and was re-elected in 2007.Sue is a member of the General Purposes and Audit Committee and the Community Safety Forum. She has previously been a member of the Planning and Community Development Select Committee, Licensing and Appeals Committee and Alcohol and Entertainment Committee.
