Show Racism the RED Card is offering a FREE football coaching workshop @ Newport County AFC / International Sports Village.
The Coaching workshop on Tuesday 8th December 2009 is targeted towards ethnic minority communities and is aimed to increase the number of coaches that are underrepresented at all levels of football.
The workshop has been developed with the Welsh Football Trust and participants will learn about the coach education opportunities that are available in Wales and have a taster of the content on the FAW football leader's award (level 1) practical activities.
Participants will be presented with an attendance certificate at half time during a Newport County AFC game.
The previous workshop in Cardiff was very successful with participants noting they would feel comfortable and enthused to complete the Leaders award. Many participants are signed up to the course.
