Ian Liddell-Granger, MP
MP for Bridgwater and West Somerset since 2001 election (replacing Tom King who received a life peerage in 2001)
Born in Scotland in 1959, Ian can boast of not only a career in business, but also in farming and the army.
In business: he created a UK-wide building & property management company.
In farming: he ran a 250 acre arable farm.
In military: he was a consultant to Army Land Command HQ in Salisbury (he is also a Major on the reserve list).
In Parliament Ian has been on the select committee investigating:
Public Administration,
DEFRA,
Scottish Affairs.
