New baby for new AboutMyArea site owner

On Tuesday of last week (15th April) Richard and Sarah Adams of Felons Oak became the proud parents of a beautiful baby boy. The new baby arrived at 10.40pm weighing in at 8lbs 5oz. after a short labour and in the comfort of their own home.
The home birth was Sarah's choice, which was made possible with the support of her partner Richard and by Minehead midwife, Siew Gin Bunce. Siew was not supposed to be on duty at the time, but luckily was able to attend as her replacements from Taunton were not able to make it in time.
Sarah said: "Siew was marvellous, and I can't thank her enough for coming out. Although there were no complications Richard and I were very glad she was here"
Not only do we send a warm welcome to the new addition to this family, whose name is yet to be decided, but at the same time would like to welcome Sarah herself to the AboutMyArea ‘family'.
Sarah has joined the nationwide company, AboutMyArea as the owner of TA4, which makes her a next-door neighbour to TA24 and we look forward to working closely together when she returns to work. For the moment though, she has her hands full not only with a week-old baby, but with his ‘big' two-year old brother, Dylan.

Midwife Siew-Gin Bunce advises and looks after expectant mothers in both Minehead (from Harley House practice) and Washford (Brendon Hills Surgery) communities.
