Essex man attacked in Minehead

Police are appealing for witnesses after an apparently unprovoked attack left a man with a broken jaw.
At around 11pm on Thursday, August 7, the 34-year-old victim was on Seaward Way, Minehead when he was attacked.
The victim, who is from the Essex area, suffered a broken jaw as a result which has since required an operation in hospital.
The attacker was male, 5ft 10ins with a medium build and dark coloured hair.
He was with three others in a Volkswagen car that left the scene after the attack.
Police would like to speak to anyone who might have witnessed the assault or may recognise the offenders involved.
