Update: Appeal For Missing Man - Found in Minehead

UPDATE: Thursday 24th May
A Search and Rescue Team from Exmoor commenced searches on Wednesday of an area to the west of Minehead. The Exmoor Search & Rescue said: "A Team member on route to the call out came across an incident which was found to involve the man for whom we were searching. Two of the Team's Casualty Carers were immediately deployed to the scene to provide medical aid until South West Ambulance Service arrived.

"The gentleman was taken to hospital, where we wish him a speedy recovery."

Original Appeal:  Police have increasing concerns for the welfare of 62 year old John Alan Dobson who has been missing since the early hours of Sunday 20th May 2012.

It is believed that Mr Dobson (pictured) is using a Black Peugeot 206 motor car registration number BG51BYM.

Mr Dobson is described as a white male, 5' 11" of slim build with dark hair. He may be wearing jeans, dark blue jumper, green anorak and light brown walking boots.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Dobson or his motor vehicle is asked to call the police on 101.
