With soaring fuel prices and the likelihood of industrial action leading to a possible fuel shortage situation, police are warning residents and companies that they are more likely to be the victim of the theft of diesel and domestic oil.
Police along with Customs and excise will be looking to stop any suspect vehicle and dip fuel tanks for rebated heavy oil commonly known as red diesel.
