Police Renew Appeal for Missing Man after Sighting in Watchet

Police are renewing their appeal for help from the public to trace a man who has gone missing from the Watchet area.
It follows a recent possible sighting in the town of
Gerald McGonnell (53), was last seen in the Swain Street area in September 2009.
Since then police have made extensive checks in areas he is known to have frequented in the past. They believed he may have been in Bridgwater or the surrounding area.
There is concern for his welfare as he was known to be depressed at the time he went missing.
Anyone spotting Mr McGonnell is asked to contact Bridgwater CID on 0845 4567000. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. They never ask for your name and never trace your call.
