Come to a Partners And Communities Together (PACT) meetings
The police, in company with other partner organisations, including the County, District and Parish councillors, attend quarterly Area Panel meetings, where the public can raise any issue affecting their community or their quality of life.
The first item on the agenda is open to hear their concerns. Key agencies will formally action these concerns, responding as appropriate.
PACT meetings give you a chance to meet the team and influence priorities in your neighbourhood.
Current Alcombe public priorities
(Priorities established on 14th November 2008)
- Allegations of drug dealing and drug use in the Alcombe area.
- Illegal parking in the area of Hopcott Road junction with entrance to Hopcott Common Road.
- Anti-social behaviour in the area of Silvermead/Bircham Road and cycling on pavements by West Somerset Community College at relevant school in and out times.
Minehead priorities:
(Priorities established on 12th November 2008)
- Speeding vehicles Minehead Seafront, Parkhouse Road, Periton Road, Moor Road and North Hill, an area identified as area of concern re anti-social use of vehicles.
- Criminal damage in the town centre area.
- Illegal parking in Minehead town and in vicinity of schools.
