Meet the Donkey close up, some have been rescued following mistreatment or neglect; some are retired beach donkeys and some because their owner's circumstance have changed.
Learn all about the work they do and visit the Nature Centre where you can learn about the beautiful and abundant natural habitat aroun the scanctuary.
Activity for the children during school holidays,..fun and interactive workshops but there is a nominal fee to cover the cost of the materials...no booking is required.
Adopt your chosen donkey from The Elizabeth Svendsen Trust and you'll receive a certificate and regular updates, if you wish.
The Donkey Sanctuary is open all year round (365 days) from 9.00 - dusk. Admission and parking is free.
