The Tiverton museum of Mid Devon Life was created in 1960 to reflect the social history of the Mid Devon area. It was completely refurbished in 2001 to provide light, airy and well presented displays.
The museum's vast collection - the largest of its kind in the South West- is housed in fifteen galleries covering agriculture, transport, industry, craft and domestic life.
