AboutMyArea welcomes our first local Community Networker.......
Community Youth Work Coordinator Claire Smy is very excited to become our first sub editor, who will be posting regular articles for AboutMyArea the local interactive website.
Claire is keen for youths from age 8 -19 to become involved with the activities at the YMCA, Lisieux way Taunton, which will run two groups.. a Junior group on Friday and senior group on Thursday.
Claire says; "I was amazed to be told that I'm the first sub editor!" Karen has shown me how it all works and very surprisingly it's so simple and straight forward. I'm looking forward to posting articles that involve the community and thought AboutMyArea is a fantastic resource for information, community news etc.
Karen added "What Claire is doing is an excellent initiative for the youths. I like the idea of photograghy skills and first aids skills and I'll be interested to see how the youths are getting on with their skills and other activities on the website."
