Spooky Goings on at the YMCA

Junior and senior youth groups at Taunton's YMCA on Lisieux Way enjoyed games and food this Hallowe'en in fun celebrations that were proof that young people can enjoy themselves responsibly at this time of year.

Both groups played Pass the Cauldron, Dress the Mummy and Ghost Hunt, and enjoyed Hallowe'en biscuits and bogie jelly (yuck!) in fun sessions that also saw Junior Youth Group dress up and make Hallowe'en crafts, whilst Senior Youth Group got a science lesson making snot and blood coloured silly putty!
Claire, Jim and Karen really enjoyed the games and crafts, and were very impressed by some of the costumes, and by the young people's enthusiasm and keeness to join in and enjoy themselves.
Whilst most of our sessions have a specific objective (such as this week's art and photography sessions which are directed towards entering national competitions), it is sometimes nice just to have blooming good fun!
