Can you help Eve?

I am involved with Mendip Disabled Association and we hold a weekly protected swim at Strode Pool in Street every Sunday from 12.30 to 1.30.
This is a very sociable group - the swimmers are known as The Mallards, and competitive swimming is encouraged, but by no means compulsory. A wish to learn to swim is all that is needed.
We have dedicated drivers to collect people from the Wells and Shepton Mallet area by mini bus to take them to the pool.
Swimming is followed by a cuppa and a raffle and chat. All ages and levels of disability are welcomed, although we would ask that severly disabled peple are accompanied by their carers.
If you feel that you could benefit from this non weight bearing excercise - or if you would like to become involved as a helper, either in or out of the pool, we will be delighted to hear from you.
Please contact Eve Harris on 01749 343194 (Evenings.) or 01749 343243 (Day)
