Meet our new education sponsor- Nicky Keller from Education Resourcing Ltd

Education Resourcing Limited is an education recruitment agency that offers an alternative solution, supplying a service to schools in all of Lincolnshire.Firstly I would like to introduce myself the founder member of Education Resourcing Limited, my name is Nicky Keller and I have over twelve years experience within the recruitment industry of which, the last seven have been in the education sector.
It is my belief that all too often schools and teachers are not treated with the respect they deserve and that both rates for supply charged to schools and those paid to supply teachers are not always as they should be. With this in mind, I decided that a teacher supply agency that would undertake to operate withfair play should be created. Education Resourcing opened for business in 2002 and to date has a thirty percent market share. I pledge to pay rates equivalent to that of the LEA based upon experience and to only ever charge rates that are commensurate with the relevant experience of the supply teacher. This is vitally important as I know that a good percentage of the two hundred plus teachers that I have registered, have told me that they do not perform to the same level of teaching when on a reduced rate which is frequently paid by other supply agencies.
We seem to be facing a bartering of rates paid and this definitely impacts directly to the education our children are receiving. I ask you a question; would you perform the same duties for a lesser rate of pay? My supply teachers are always willing to go the extra mile due to the fact they get paid and treated correctly. This also forms part of my interview discussions with new supply teachers that I register. I offer a high quality professional service with an emphasis on a personable and friendly approach. Education Resourcing was formed to be a local, low profit making company aiming to help the community. My aim is to keep my costs low which in turn benefits both teachers and schools who do not have to pay for my overheads and expenses through lesser rates paid or higher rates charged. I take great delight in communicating and establishing relationships with both the supply teachers and schools that I work with.
You can read what they think about me on my website as I have over 60testimonials about how I always go that extra mile. For me this isn't just a business but a passion. My mission statement is to never become so large a company that I would lose my personal contact.

Testimonials
"Staff from your agency are excellent. You provide a really first class service. Thank you!"
Cathy Taylor, Head Teacher, The Peele School
"
Nicky has taken the stress out of my first full year of managing cover for our school. She makes the extra effort to know all her customers and teachers personally. Being a smaller school, supply teachers who come here need to fit in and be prepared to be flexible. Even when I have asked for one teacher to cover a mixture of Science, Drama and PE, Nicky has never let me down! I know that I can call her, often at short notice, and she will calm me down and find me an outstanding teacher"
Alice Forster, Cover Administrator, Caistor Yarborough School
"Over the time that I have been using Education Resourcing, I have been impressed by the lengths that Nicky has gone to, to meet our needs both for short term and longer term placements. Her friendly and efficient approach has meant that I can rely on her to keep me updated about how the search for a supply teacher is going, even when I have contacted her at short notice. Many Thanks Nicky for all your efforts"
Karen English, Cover Manager, Walton Community School
"Happy to support a small and local business which tries hard to help schools with cover problems. We've found them fast, efficient and affordable!
Alan Farmilo, Deputy Head Teacher, The King's Grammar School, Lincolnshire
"The service provided is always prompt and efficient, yet friendly. The personal knowledge that Nicky has of her teachers makes her able to match the needs of the school with the strengths of the teachers. She often takes the panic out of last minute absence crises."
Sue Brown, Supply Organiser,
Middlefield Secondary School in Lincolnshire
"I signed up with several agencies after moving to Lincolnshire from Milton Keynes four years ago. Little work was offered and not much care seemed to be taken to match any work to my qualifications. One agency paid £40.00 a day less than in Milton Keynes and said they would pay me more after I had had more experience supply teaching (Possibly 38 years teaching in mostly inner city schools just wasn't enough!). The experiences I have had with Education Resourcing have been very different. I thoroughly endorse comments made by other teachers on this website about Nicky's warm, friendly and personal approach. I particularly enjoy the positive feedback I get from Nicky and find that warm glow very pleasant!
Anne Devereux, Supply Teacher, Lincolnshire
