The Let's Do It prize pot will be divided up into individual awards of up to £1,000 all you have to do is say why your group deserves the money.

Youth groups, Community groups and even registered Charities are all eligible for the award....the only rule is that the money must benefit the local community.

Entry forms which will be printed weekly in the Croydon Advertiser until August 17th need to be filled in, and handed into a local Barclays branch or the Advertser's office in Bartlett Street , South Croydon with an accompanying letter explaining why your group deserves a share of the cash.

Competition winners will be invited to a presentation ceremony, where they will be awarded their cheques and certificates on Tuesday September 11 at the Aerodrome Hotel, Purley Way, Croydon.

The Competition is open to any non-profit or charity organisations.
Entries will not be accepted from and religious, political or medical research groups.
The closing date for entries is Friday August 24th.
