Building Learning Communities in Schools across Rotherham
Building Learning Communities Limited (BLCL) is a not for profit company set up by Transform Schools and Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council.
BLCL promote and manage community use of the various schools sites within the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project in Rotherham including Wath Central Primary and Wath Comprehensive.
Their aim is to make facilities available for all, whether you are a community group, a company needing a meeting space, or a group of friends wanting to get together to play football or learn a new skill.
BLCL offers a suitable facility for everyone, at a price which reflects the needs of the local community.
To support this project BLCL are currently recruiting a team of Volunteer Lettings Supervisors to join the programme who will have the opportunity to learn new skills, and gain new experience through a combination of ‘work-based' placements at the comprehensive schools including Wath Comprehensive and a training programme.
