South Yorkshire Police - Appeal for Information - Traffic
Police are appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in which an elderly pedestrian sustained serious head injuries.
The incident happened at around 0900hrs on Friday 18 May 2007 on North Quadrant at its junction with Bellhouse Road, Firth Park, Sheffield.
It is reported that the 76-year-old woman from the Firth Park area was crossing North Quadrant at the junction with Bell House Road. The woman was in collision with a single decker service bus that was negotiating the road junction, turning on to North Quadrant from the direction of Firth Park.
The woman was taken from the scene to the Northern General Hospital where she is detained with her injuries.
