Wortley Arms, Wortley Village
Great re-opening
Come and visit the Wortley Arms, a delightfull 17th century inn which has just re-opened after a very extensive refurbishment by the new owners. With very pleasant staff, excellent friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere you will soon feel at home.
There has been an inn on this site since the early 1600s but, with the arrival of the turnpike road it was decided that a new commodious hostelry was required and work commenced on rebuilding the Wortley Arms Inn on the 11th May 1753 and was completed on the 24th December that same year at a cost of £188-6s-4½d (it cost a good bit more this time!)

Enjoy a drink or bar meal in the comfortable main bar and enjoy a welcome as warm as it's lovely open fire. Parties are catered for in an ideal room just off the main bar.

Relax in our Tap room with a drink or bar snack after a walk around the quaint village and surrounding area (dogs welcome)

For an extra special meal you must try the Fine Dining in our completely new Montague Restaurant.
With an excellent kitchen staff led by Andy Gabbitas B.E.M. Master Chef of Great Britain; who has a wealth of experience catering for the British Army and Private Clients, you are sure to enjoy the dining experience.

And for that really special occasion or meeting why not visit our very select, private function room.
