Chapeltown Womens Institute
Chapeltown W.I. was formed in 1984 we still have some of the original members. We now have 43 members but are always wanting new ones to come and join us.
We meet the second Wednesday in the month at Chapletown Library, Nether Ley Avenue . We welcome new members and visitors to the meetings.
We have a variety of speakers, last month we had a Justice of the Peace and the members acted out a court room scene.
Other speakers this year were symphonies of colour music hall, crime scenes, Denby Pie, bits and pieces & analysis of handwriting. Every month we have a competition something to do with the subject .
We also have three socials were we have quizzes and games & a Christmas Party which we invite two members from other groups in the area.
