Friends Of Foxfield Spring Woods
Foxfield Spring is a small area of woodland in the Burncross area of North Sheffield. It is bordered by local housing estates, which gives rise to problems of vandalism and over-use of this wood. The Friends of Foxfield Spring formed in 1998 to protect, repair and enhance this area in conjunction with the Sheffield Park Ranger Service.
Well Done Margaret!

Margaret Bradbury one of the founder members of The Friends Of Foxfield Spring Woods at Burncross, seen here receiving a Chairmans Award from Vic Bowden, chairperson of Ecclesfield Parish Council.
The award is to celebrate Margarets 10 years dedicated work in helping to preserve and improve this ancient woodland area.
Margaret is part of a very small group of people who work hard year after year maintaining & tidying and organising demonstrations of woodland crafts. Robert Wake, one of Margarets collegues can just be seen over her left shoulder.
