Skin filler could be the answer to wrinkles
Cosmetic surgeons believe they could help combat the signs of aging by using a special filler to smooth the appearance of human skin.
The use of hyaluronic acid cold help fill in skin wrinkles and smooth out aging skin. Although, the acid can usually only last a few days, new advances mean that the substance could be chemically improved and ensure long-term cosmetic benefits for users.
Hyaluronic acid has been used to help glue skin cells together and treat small acne scars but, despite being approved a number of years ago; it has not yet been viewed as a cosmetic procedure product.
However, scientists have been conducted a number of trials to see how it could help encourage collagen production and help reduce the impact of the sun on skin with some positive results.
Dr Frank Wang at the University of Michigan Medical School believes that recent tests reveal that the acid could play a key role in reducing the appearance of wrinkles as well as tackling a number of skin-wasting diseases.
