Spend a day at Cannon Hall Farm, you`ll love it! what better way to keep both the kids and the adults amused and interested.
This award winning working farm, set in the Pennines has loads to offer. Whether it be on an organised school visit or just a day out with the family. The farm welcomes over 35,000 children per year and provides a superb educational experience.
The animals are the stars of the show, with lambs, goats, donkeys, piglets, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, wallabies, llamas and alpacas providing the entertainment. At a small cost children can buy a bag of food to feed their favourites.
If the weather is good then the picnic area provides an excellent snack stop, however in bad weather the new indoor heated picnic area is a blessing !
The adventure playground provides hours of fun for children from18 months old.
The toy and gift shop stocks a huge amount of souveneirs, giftware and makes it so easy to spend your hard earned cash or pocket money !
For the grown-ups the farm shop sells some of the finest Yorkshire produce plus foods from around the world. The butchery shop provides local meat from cattle reared at Cannon Hall or neighbouring farms. The shop boasts over 20 varieties of sausages.
Fresh fruit and vegetables are all sourced locally.
The delicatessan stocks a mouthwatering array of homemade pies, cheeses and cooked meats.
