Revitalising Ecclesfield Park & Pavilion

REVITALISING ECCLESFIELD PARK & PAVILION

Ecclesfield Park

As a result of the Ecclesfield Village Plan Survey conducted at the end of last year, three community groups were formed in a bid to actively improve Ecclesfield.

The Park and Pavilion Group was formed by enthusiastic local residents of the community with a commitment to improving and regenerating Ecclesfield Park and Pavilion.

The Group aims to create a focal point for the expanding village ensuring a safe, tranquil and fun environment for sports, leisure and other community activity. They want to identify the needs of local people and are working towards raising the funds necessary to provide facilities that meet the expectations of the community.

The Group has received backing from the Parish Council and is currently identifying other funding opportunities with a view to making applications over the coming months. A key factor in applying for financial support is to take into account the views of the community.

Questionnaires have been distributed to local residents and current Park users. The Group are actively encouraging people to complete the questionnaire in order to have their say and determine the future of the Park and Pavilion. Everyone's views are important.

To encourage participation all completed questionnaires will be entered into a Prize Draw; which has been sponsored by local businesses.

Have your say; your views are important in helping to make Ecclesfield Park a place that we can all enjoy and be proud of as a community.
