Sheffield does quite well scoring 4 out of 5. Channel 4 comments (and I quote):
"Quick guide: Made famous in The Full Monty, Sheffield is a metropolitan borough in South Yorkshire, and one of the eight largest cities in the country outside London.
Having lost 90% of the steel industry in the 1980's, Sheffield has since transformed itself into the call-centre capital, with the finance sector another big employer. And with almost one in ten people working in the creative industries (nearly twice the national average), it's no surprise that the borough has spawned groups like the Arctic Monkeys and Pulp.
And if you think of Sheffield as something of a concrete jungle - think again - because, with over 2 million, Sheffield has more trees per person than any other city in Europe. Average house prices have increased by 5.7% over the year to £154,322, which is well below the national average, but makes Sheffield the most expensive place to buy in South Yorkshire."
I for one am proud to say "I live in Sheffield" (and S35 is the best bit!)
