Tickets are now on sale to take part in the anniversary raffle - with all profits helping the registered charity care for local people living with cancer and other serious illnesses.
Supported by Steve Thompson Cars of Lichfield, the sleek silver Corsa is worth almost £9,000 and with more than 250 prizes ranging from £5 to £2,500 there are plenty of chances to win a fantastic prize and help St Giles at the same time. Richard Simmonite, St Giles Hospice Promotions Commercial Manager, says: "One lucky winner will drive away in a brand new silver Vauxhall Corsa - a wonderful prize in return for their £1 ticket!
"We're extremely grateful to Steve Thompson Cars for helping us provide such a special prize in the hospice's silver anniversary year. Anyone aged 16 years of age or over can take part in the raffle knowing that even if they don't win a prize, the more money we can raise, the more local people can benefit from the hospice's services.
"With this draw there will be over 250 winners - including St Giles Hospice."
Tickets must be returned by 25th July ready for the draw on Thursday 31st July.
For further information and to join in on the anniversary raffle call 0845 370 65 80, or visit any of the St Giles Hospice Shops.
All profits from this raffle and other lottery games go directly to St Giles Hospice, a registered charity offering high-quality medical and nursing care for people with cancer and other serious illnesses, as well as providing support for their families and carers.
Patients come from across the hospice's catchment area, which ranges from Ashby de la Zouch and Atherstone in the east, to Cannock and Walsall in the west - and from Burton and Uttoxeter in the north, to Sutton Coldfield and Coleshill in the south.
Care is offered at the hospice's facilities in Sutton Coldfield and Whittington between Lichfield and Tamworth, or in patients' own homes across the region.
St Giles spends over £5.5 million every year providing its specialist services and with less than a third of this funded by the Government, relies heavily on donations and fundraising. The hospice lottery funds care for one in five of St Giles' patients.
