POLICE APPEAL FOLLOWING CAR JACKING AT SHENSTONE

A DRIVER was threatened and had his car stolen after he parked outside a supermarket at Shenstone near Lichfield.
Detectives are appealing for help from anyone who may have seen the incident which happened at around 9.15pm last night (Tues 23 Oct) outside Tesco Express in Birmingham Road.
The 39-year old man was walking back to his vehicle when he was threatened by two men who police believe had been hiding in the garden of a nearby house.
He was pushed to the ground by the pair who grabbed his car keys and drove away in his black Vauxhall Astra VXR, registration number MT 56 OSO, towards Birmingham. The owner was shaken but was not seriously hurt.
Police are looking for two young white men. One was around 5ft 8/9ins tall, slim and wearing a dark hooded top. His accomplice was taller, around 6ft tall, medium build, wearing dark clothing.
