Come along to the Jigsaw shop on Dimbles Lane to take part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Friday 28th September.
North Lichfield Initiative, in partnership with Lichfield Fairtrade, invites you in for a nice cup of coffee to help raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
World's Biggest Coffee Morning is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK, with an estimated 2 million people raising their mugs for Macmillan last year.
Tracy Potts, North Lichfield Initiative Community Worker, said: "I hope lots of people will join us for this fun event. It's a great opportunity to support a worthwhile cause, meet new people, and enjoy a great cup of coffee. If you don't fancy coffee, we will also be serving Fairtrade tea and hot chocolate, along with Fairtrade cakes and biscuits."
A cuppa and a slice of cake or biscuits will cost just 80p - which will all be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Councillor Janet Eagland, Chairman of Lichfield District Council, added: "Macmillan is a cause I support because so many people's lives are unfortunately touched by cancer, and Macmillan offers invaluable support to both those suffering and to their families. This is a great way to raise funds and I hope lots of people will come along to take part."
Jigsaw and the North Lichfield Initiative support Lichfield in becoming a Fairtrade City and hope that you will too.
