Blackberries and pears baked in marzipan

This recipe is almost like the laziest version of a Bakewell Tart possible. My husband is a bit of a marzipan fiend and was overjoyed when I managed to find another way of eating marzipan.
Serves: 4
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
2 Ripe pears, peeled
15 Blackberries
250g Marzipan
Icing sugar for dusting
Method
1. Pre heat oven to 180oC /gas 4.
2. Cut the pears in half and cut away the core and seeds. Place a black berry in the hollow where the seeds were.
3. Roll out the marzipan on an icing sugar dusted surface into a 12cm square. Cut into 4 equal square.
4. Place a pear in each half and wrap in the marzipan.
5. Place on a lightly buttered baking sheet. Bake for 25 minutes until marzipan is starting to brown.
