Flavoured Vodka

Vodka is the perfect spirit to flavour as it has very little flavour of it's own, you can flavour with pretty much any spice, my favourites are Chilli, Vanilla and Cinnamon. You can then either make them into a tall drink or sip the neat vodka.
Chilli Vodka
Makes 1 litre
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
1 Litre Vodka
2 Red Chillies
Method
1. Prick the Chillies all over with a cocktail stick and place into a sterilised bottle.
2. Top up with Vodka, seal the bottle and leave for a minimum of three weeks and up to three years.
Serve straight, with lemonade or with tonic water. Chilli vodka also gives extra kick to a Bloody Mary.
Vanilla Vodka
Makes: 1 litre
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
1 Litre Vodka
2 Vanilla pods
Method
1. Split the vanilla pods in half and place into a sterilised bottle.
2. Top up with Vodka, seal the bottle and leave for a minimum of three weeks and up to three years.
Serve straight, with lemonade or soda water.
Cinnamon Vodka
Makes: 1 litre
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
1 Litre Vodka
2 Cinnamon sticks
Method
1. Place the cinnamon sticks into a sterilised bottle.
2. Top up with Vodka, seal the bottle and leave for a minimum of three weeks and up to three years.
Serve straight, with lemonade or soda water.
You get the idea, be creative, if you're not sure then make a miniature in a 50ml bottle, if it's a disaster then don't make it again.
