Burntwood Leisure Centre Easter Actvities

With spring in the air and school holidays just around the corner, children are bound to have a spring in their step - so why not sign them up to some of the sporty activities on offer at Burntwood Leisure Centre this Easter holiday?
Lichfield District Council's leisure services team have a packed programme of sports courses and play schemes lined up from 2nd to 13th April.
At a Football Fun Week running from 10th to 13th April, children aged five to 15 can sharpen up their soccer skills. Football fanatics of all abilities will get expert coaching from 10am - 3pm on the third generation football pitch. The holiday play scheme will also be returning this spring, children aged five to 11 can join in a host of fun filled activities including arts and crafts, games, sports, and swimming all day from 9am - 4pm.
Strong swimmers over the age of 16 can sign up to a seven day intensive Pool Lifeguard course from 4th to 14th April from 8.30am to 6pm. Successful completion of the course enables you to work as a lifeguard.
Neil Turner, Leisure Services Manager, said: "The Easter holidays are a fantastic time for children to have a go at a new sport or activity, or to get active whilst making new friends. So sign them up for one of our courses or play schemes and guarantee your children some fun this Easter."
